Queens Park Rangers vs Swansea City Match Analysis & Prediction

19/09/2023 9:00 pm

Queens Park Rangers and Swansea City will both be looking to bounce back from defeats when they meet at Loftus Road on Tuesday night.
The hosts will enter the contest off the back of a 3-1 defeat to Sunderland, while Swansea suffered a 2-0 loss against Cardiff City last time out.
QPR have won two and lost four of their six Championship matches this season, with a total of six points leaving them in 20th place in the table.
The Hoops started their campaign with a 4-0 defeat at Watford but bounced back by winning 2-1 at Cardiff in their second game of the season.
However, Gareth Ainsworth’s side have suffered defeats in three of their last four league matches, including a 3-1 reverse at home to Sunderland on Saturday.
QPR actually took the lead at Loftus Road through Kenneth Paal, only for Sunderland to score three times without reply on order to secure all three points.
Swansea suffered huge disappointment in the South Wales derby on Saturday, with Cardiff scoring twive in the latter stages to secure all three points at the Cardiff City Stadium.
The Swans have now lost each of their last four matches, including their last three in the Championship to Preston North End, Bristol City and Cardiff.
Michael Duff’s side are currently down in 22nd place in the table, picking up just one point from their opening six matches, which is not quite what the club would have had in mind at this stage.

QPR will be without the services of experienced midfielder Jack Colback on Tuesday, as he was handed a straight red card in the defeat to Sunderland on Saturday.
Jimmy Dunne is also missing out due to a shoulder injury, with Colback’s absence expected to open the door for Chris Willock to come into the side here.
