QPR vs Norwich City Match Analysis & Prediction

19/04/2023 9:45 pm

Norwich City will travel to Queens Park Rangers on Wednesday to secure a much-needed win in their quest for a Championship playoff spot. The Canaries currently occupy 10th place in the standings, while QPR sits one point above the relegation zone in 20th position.
After a comeback draw at West Bromwich Albion and a loss to Coventry City last week, QPR is on the brink of dropping into the bottom three.
Gareth Ainsworth has accumulated just four points from nine matches in charge, conceding 21 goals in the process, and there is an acknowledgment that it will take a turnaround in results to prevent a surprise demotion to League One.
Norwich City has kept themselves in contention for the top six despite winning just one of their last seven matches in the Championship.
However, they were blown away by Middlesbrough on Friday night, conceding five times in 49 minutes at the Riverside Stadium.
As a result, they find themselves down in 10th position; but they are only two points adrift of sixth-placed Blackburn Rovers, who appear to have lost their way.
QPR vs. Norwich City Head to head

QPR Team News
Although Queens Park Rangers had been within a goal of Coventry City until the 86th minute, Ainsworth is likely to tinker with his starting lineup. Chris Willock and Jamal Lowe are options in the final third, but Ilias Chair should retain his spot in the side because Ainsworth wanted to manage his game time because of Ramadan.
