Tusker will look to maintain their top spot in the Kenyan Premier League when they square off against Police at the Moi International Sports Centre on Saturday afternoon.
Police suffered a 1-0 loss to AFC Leopards last time out, which ended their eight-match unbeaten run in the premier league.
The defeat saw them drop to eighth place in the league standings, two points now behind AFC and some nine points off the summit. They will look to get their campaign back on track as soon as possible if they are going to challenge for a top four finish.
Tusker meanwhile, picked up a 0-0 draw against Ulinzi Stars last time out, making it their third draw in the last four games.
With only one win in their last four games, Tusker are now level on points with second-paced Nzoia United and just one above fourth-placed KCB. The champions need to turn around their recent draws to wins to maintain their lead and perhaps retain their title at the end.
They face a formidable Police side and they will need to be vigilant if they are to come away with all three points on Saturday.
