Peterborough United will be looking to record a fifth successive victory across all competitions when they host Stevenage at the Weston Homes Stadium on Wednesday.
The Posh currently occupy fourth position in the League One table, while the visitors are seven points further back in sixth place.
Peterborough are enjoying an impressive run of form which began with a commanding 3-0 victory over Blackpool in the EFL Trophy semi-finals.
Since securing their spot at Wembley, Peterborough have overcame Cambridge United, Exeter City and Northampton Town, before claiming a 3-2 victory in Saturday’s away encounter with Burton Albion.
Ricky-Jade Jones saw his opening goal cancelled out by Ademola Ola-Adebomi, but the Posh still managed to leave the Pirelli Stadium with all three points through late efforts from Josh Knight and Jonson Clarke-Harris.
Having moved up to fourth position in the league standings, Darren Ferguson’s side are four points adrift of second-placed Derby County with a game in hand.
Meanwhile, Srevenage have put together a four-game unbeaten run since suffering their most recent defeat to Derby County on February 17.
While they have kept clean sheets in all four of those matches, they have had to settle for goalless draws in their last two matches against Lincoln City and Fleetwood Town.
With 10 matches remaining, Steve Evans’ side are sitting in the playoff spots and one points clear of Oxford United in seventh position.
