Pakistan vs Jordan Match Analysis & Prediction
21/03/2024 12:00 pm
Pakistan and Jordan will both be looking to get their World Cup qualifying campaigns up and running when they meet at Jinnah Sports Stadium on Thursday.
Both teams suffered defeat in their respective last matches and now go in search of a much-needed victory to help get themselves back on track.
Pakistan were beaten for the 15th time in 17 matches across all competitions as they suffered a 6-1 defeat to Tajikistan when the teams met on November 21.
Consequently, Stephen Constantine’s side are yet to pick up a point in their World Cup qualifying campaign and remain bottom of Group G heading into the third round of matches.
Having shipped 11 goals across their last three matches on home turf, Pakistan will need to keep things tight at the back to stand any chance of securing a positive result in front form their fans.
Meanwhile, Jordan just about came up short in their pursuit of Asian Cup glory following a 3-1 defeat to host nation Qatar in the final on February 10.
That brought an end to a three-game winning run for Hussein Ammouta’s side, who have endured a relatively underwhelming World Cup qualifying campaign with just one point on the board from two matches so far.
Pakistan vs. Jordan Head to head
Jordan have won each of the two previous meetings between these two teams, scoring six goals without conceding.
