Osasuna vs Mallorca Match Analysis & Prediction

14/05/2024 8:30 pm

Mallorca will be looking to make it back-to-back victories in La Liga when they travel to Estadio El Sadar to face Osasuna on Tuesday night.
Osasuna secured a point in a 2-2 draw with Athletic Bilbao on Saturday. Jagoba Arrasate’s side actually led 2-0 at San Mames, but the hosts answered back, with their second goal coming in the sixth minute of additional time at the end of the 90.
Arrasate’s side are without a win in La Liga since the end of March, but they did manage to end their four-game losing streal on Saturday with a welcome point against Athletic.
Los Rojillos are currently occupying 13th position in the league standings, boasting 40 points from their 35 matches through a record of 11 wins, seven draws and 17 losses.
Meanwhile, Mallorca relegated Granada from the top flight on Saturday through their 1-0 home victory over Las Palmas, with Giovanni Gonzalex scoring the only goal of the game.
The Pirates are now 15th in the table, boasting 35 points from their 35 matches, which has left them nine points ahead of 18th-placed Cadiz, who are in action against Getafe on Sunday.
Javier Aguirre’s side have found it difficult on their travels during the 2023-24 campaign, picking up just 10 points from their 17 matches, recording just one win in the process.
However, Osasuna have struggled for consistency in front of their own fans this season, securing just 21 points from 17 matches, and the hosts have also found it difficult to show their best form for much of the season.
Osasuna vs. Mallorca Head to head
In the previous 43 meetings between these two teams, Osasuna have claimed 15 victories while Mallorca have won 12, and they have drawn in 16. Mallorca have scored 54 goals and conceded 55 in the process.
