Police will look to make it back-to-back wins on the bounce in the Kenyan Premier league when they face Mathare United at the Moi International Sports Center on Wednesday afternoon.
After losing 1-0 to AFC Leopards, Police managed to bounce back to winning ways last time out after beating the champions Tusker a humiliating 3-0. The win saw them climb to seventh place in the Premier League standings, six points behind now third-placed Tusker.
They will now be looking to make it back to back wins as they seek to continue climbing up the league standings. They are in a flying form at the moment and they should fancy their chances against a rock-bottom Mathare United.
Mathare have endured a difficult campaign this season, and currently sit at the bottom of the table with four points from nine games. Yes they have played far much less matches than most of the sides in the league, but winning just one of their nine games is a very poor return.
They are coming off a 3-1 defeat to Kakamega Homeboyz and they will be desperate to bounce back on Wednesday, but Police poise an uphill task and it be shocking to claim all three points.
