Livingston vs Hibernian Match Analysis & Prediction
04/03/2023 6:00 pm
Livingston will look to bounce back to winning ways in the Scottish Premiership when they take on Hibernian at the Tony Macaroni Arena n their Matchday 28 tie on evening.
Livingston recorded a 1-0 defeat at Aberdeen last time out in the Premiership, making it their third loss in their last four league matches and as a result they find themselves in the bottom half of the table, but are level on 35 points with sixth-placed Aberdeen.
With the first phase of the campaign just moments away from ending, David Martindale’s side need to bounce back here if they are going to finish in the Championship Group. Hibernian always present a tough opponent, but Livingston have not lost to them in their last four matches at home and will look to build on that.
Hibernian are coming off a 2-0 win over Kilmarnock, extending their league unbeaten run to six matches and as a result they have climbed to fourth place in the league standings, two points above seventh-placed Livingston.
A win will be crucial for the Hibs who are looking to seal their place in the top half of the table. They beat Livingston 4-0 the reverse fixture earlier this season and will be hoping for the same, but will need to be top of the game having failed to win at Tony Macaroni Arena in their last three visits.
