The fourth round of the FA Cup awaits the winner of Leeds United and managerless Cardiff City’s replay on Wednesday at Elland Road.
The Whites came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with their Championship counterparts two weekends ago, and a meeting with Boreham Wood or Accrington Stanley awaits the victors.
Leeds United was staring down the barrel of defeat with only minutes remaining at Cardiff City Stadium. Still, inspired substitutions from Jesse Marsch gave the Whites a fighting chance in their FA Cup opener.
Rodrigo pulled a goal back for Leeds in the 65th minute, and Sonny Perkins leveled the game just seconds before full-time to add another match to an already hectic winter calendar.

When Joel Bagan was sent off in Cardiff’s draw with Leeds, his team was already down to 10 men after the dismissal of Lee Peltier.
The draw was the latest in a long line of disappointing results for Cardiff, who also drew with Wigan Athletic on Saturday.
The result seems to have sealed the fate of manager Mark Hudson. His replacement will aim to claim victories over struggling opponents like Leeds and Sunderland, two teams that were defeated by Cardiff earlier this month.
