Konyaspor vs Bodrumspor Match Analysis & Prediction

Both sitted in fourth place but in different tiers of Turkish football hiererchy, Konyaspor and Bodrumspor go head to head in the Turkish Cup at Konya Buyuksehir Belediye Stadyumu on Thursday.
While the hosts took the break from domestic duties in the Super Lig due to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, the visitors continued with the proceedings in 1. Lig.
Konyaspor were last in competitive action back on November 13, where they claimed a 2-1 victory away at Kayserispor, extending their league unbeaten run to four matches. The last time they lost in Super Lig was on October 15, when they suffered a 1-0 home defeat to Gaziantep FK.

Konyaspor now have the task of facing lower-tier Bodrumspor in cup competition before they resume matters in the Super Lig on Christmas Day with a home fixture against an Alanyaspor side who went into the break sitted in ninth place.
Meanwhile, Bodrumspor enter the contest off the back off a goalless draw with Samsunspor in their last match on December 17, which saw them extend their league unbeaten run to four matches.
Bodrumspor have now recorded an identical two wins, two draws and two losses from their last six league matches, with the defeats having come prior. Now that they have managed to keep clean sheets in all their last four matches, they will be confident that they can pick up a positive result against Konyaspor on Thursday.
The visitors have the task of taking on a high-tier side, and despite their last cup victory came against an Altinordu side of whom they are in the same division, they will be determined to cause an upset here before they resume 1. Lig duties away at Goztepe on Boxing Day.

Konyaspor will once again be without the services of right-back Baris Yardimci, who has missed 12 matches and is not eligible to play until January 12 next year.
