Vissel Kobe will hope to extend their lead in J1 League when they travel to Kashiwa Hitachi Stadium to take on a struggling Kashiwa Reysol in their Matchday 14 tie on Saturday morning.
Vissel KObe have made an impressive campaign so far in J1 League and are currently leading the proceedings with five points in the clear. They picked up a 2-0 win over Sanfrecce Hiroshima last time out and have now won three of their last four league games.
They will look to extend the momentum on Saturday as they hope to widen their lead in the league, but Kashiwa have had the edge in this clash and Takayuki Yoshida men should be aware of the threat they pose.
Kashiwa, however, they haven’t been at they best yet this season and have so far just managed to pick up 16 points from 13 games. They sit 16th inside the relegation zone, but level with 15th-placed Shonan, who are at safety.
Nelson Junior’s side are coming off a 1-0 home defeat to Yokohama and have now just won one of their last six league games. They will want to bounce back here as they seek to climb out of the drop zone, but they face Kobe who have handled themselves on the road and this could be another setback for the hosts.
