Huddersfield Town and Rotherham United renew their Yorkshire rivalry at John Smith’s Stadium on Saturday, with both teams sitting just outside the relegation zone in the early stages of the new Championship season.
The hosts won their last Championship match to secure a first league victory in 2023-24 with a 2-1 win at The Hawthorns against West Bromwich Albion, breaking a four-game winless run.
That result has left Neil Warnock’s side sitting in 21st place in the league standings on four points, two points above 22nd-placed Swansea City just inside the relegation zone.

Rotherham will be looking to reverse a 15-game away winless run, with the last time they won on the road coming in November 2022 against Sheffield United.
