Sheffield Wednesday will be looking to maintain their impressive form in League One when they make a trip to Highbury Stadium to take on Fleetwood Town on Tuesday night with kickoff at 22:45.
Fleetwood Town made an inconsistent campaign in the third tier last season with the club finishing the 15th and they are at it again this season as they sit 19th on 32 points from 31 matches, and sit just two points above the relegation zone, although they have games in hand on a number of sides around them.
They continued their poor form as they fell to a 2-0 defeat in their previous League One fixture against Cheltenham on Feb 12, extending their winless run to six matches in the division claiming four consecutive draws and two defeats in the run.
The Cod Amy will therefore de desperate for points heading into the match as they aim staying outside the relegation zone and will need to work on their home form if there are to salvage their sinking campaign.
Meanwhile Sheffield Wednesday have been impressive this season with the club recording 15 victories, 10 draws and seven defeats in their 32 matches to collect 55 points which have left them in the eighth spot, level on points with Sunderland in the seventh and Wycombe in the sixth and final playoff spot.
They head into the match in good form having only lost two of their last eight matches, winning in all the remaining six matches and are coming off a 3-1 victory against Doncaster, which was a perfect response to their 2-0 home defeat to leaders Rotherham that ended their six-match winning streak.
Wednesday were relegated from the Championship last season, but they will fancy their chances of claiming at least a playoff spot in the final months of the campaign and thus will be looking to maintain their form as they aim at breaking into the top-six.
