Dallas vs Juarez Match Analysis & Prediction

01/08/2024 4:00 am

FC Dallas need a result of some sort to have any hope of progressing out of their Leagues Cup group when they face Juarez at the Toyota Stadium on Thursday.
That first away victory continues to elude interim manager Peter Luccin, whose side are still winless on their travels this year across all competitions.
Eight of their 11 defeat in MLS this season have been by a single goal, two of which occured at home, most recently against FC Cincinnati in late June (1-0).
Their 2-1 defeat to St Louis City was the first time this club had ever lost within 90 minutes at the Leagues Cup and the first for them in group play.
Luccin’s side have not lost in 2024 at home when scoring miltiple times, dropping points in just one instance, playing out a 3-3 draw with the Real Salt Lake in late May.
The Toros boast 100% record against Liga MX sides in this competition, beating Necaxa at home in the group stage last year (3-0) and securing a 2-1 victory in the round of 32 against Mazatlan.
Meanwhile, Juarez have continuously missed opportunities to grab points in the 2024 Apertura campaign, losing three successive domestic matches by a single goal.
At the 2023 Leagues Cup, Juarez lost their only match in which they scored first, beating Mazatlan on penalties, while their only triumph came at Q2 Stadium, coming from behind to defeat Austin FC (3-1).
At this tournament, Los Bravos have one win and one loss against MLS opponents, as Los Angeles FC thrashed them in the round of 32 last year, 7-1.
