Bayer Leverkusen travels to Augsburg on Friday night to return to winning ways. Meanwhile, Augsburg finds themselves two points above the Bundesliga’s relegation places after a heavy defeat last time.
Despite having more shots, corners, and possession than their opponents last weekend, Augsburg fell to a 3-1 defeat away to high-flying Freiburg.

Leverkusen dominated possession but was made to pay for their lack of accuracy in front of the goal. The result moves Dortmund 10 points clear of Bayer Leverkusen in the race for fourth place with eight games remaining.
