Everton vs Brighton Match Analysis & Prediction
17/08/2024 5:00 pm
Everton and Brighton will get their 2024/25 Premier League campaign underway when they face off at the Goodison Park on Saturday.
Everton will be hoping that this is the season their finally return to the middle of the Premier League table, away from all the relegation talk. The Toffee have been involved in the relegation talk in the last two campaigns , finishing 17th in the 2022/23 campaign and 15th last season.
This season they will hope for a strong start and finish, with fans optimism coming from the tail end of last season, when Everton won five of their last eight Premier League games.
Brighton, meanwhile, experienced more upward trajectory than any other team in the Premier League from 2021-2023. They launched themselves up the table from 16th, to 9th, to a club-record 6th-place finish.
However, the Seagulls came crashing back down to earth last season as they found themselves in the bottom half again. Now under a new management, Brighton will be looking to pick themselves up again and with an absent of European football, they could be a team to watch this season.
Everton vs. Brighton Head to head
