League Two leaders Leyton Orient will look to extend their current winning streak to four games when they travel to Alexandra Stadium to take on Crewe in their Matchday 21 tie on Saturday evening.
After crashing out of the FA Cup with a 3-0 loss to Barnsley at away, Crewe suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Newport County last week Friday in League Two.
The defeat saw them drop to 15th-place in the league standings with now five points outside the top 10. They will look to get back on track in the Saturday’s fixture although they are coming up the league leaders who will want to maintain their spot at the summit.
Leyton picked up a 3-0 home win over Bradford in the League Two, extending their league winning streak to three games on the bounce.
Therefore the leaders have brilliant confidence heading into the fixture, but they did lose to Crewe in an FA Cup fixture this season at the Alexandre Stadium. We expect them to come out all guns blazing though as they hope to increase their five-point gap at the top of the table.
