Cittadella will look to make it back-to-back victories on the bounce in Serie B when they welcome Bari to Stadio Pier Cesare in their Matchday 16 tie on Thursday evening.
Cittadella picked up a hard-fought 1-0 win win over Genoa at way last time out in Serie B. They showed resilience in that fixture as despite having only 32% of the ball and one attempt on goal, they managed to walk away with maximum points over Genoa who registered 14 attempts with five on a goal.
The victory saw them bounce back form a three-match winless run in the league and have now climbed to 13th place in the standings. They are just one point off the top-half of the table, while four points separate them and the playoff places.
Therefore, Edoardo Gorini’s side will be looking to make back-to-back victories in the league, as they hope to continue climbing closer to the coveted top six places. They face Bari who they haven’t lost to in their last three home fixtures and will look to draw confidence from that.
