Cangzhou Mighty Lions vs Wuhan Yangtze Match Analysis & Prediction

With the Chinese Super League approaching its conclusion, Cangzhou Mighty Lions find themselves in a strong position to avoid any relegations threats, and they will play host to a Wuhan Yangtze side who are so much in danger of a relegation battle, with the two teams meeting at the Wuyuan River Stadium Field 2 on Friday.
Having scored 38 goals and conceded 46 throughout the season, Cangzhou Mighty Lions are currenty sitting in 13th place in the league standing on 34 points, 18 points above the relegation zone, so they will not be wary of any relegation battle and will want to finish the campaign on a high.
They enter the contest off the back of a 4-0 defeat on home soil at the hands of Wuhan Three Towns, ending their four-game unbeaten run.
Davidson scored the opener in the 43rd minute before Nicolae Stanciu added the second to ensure the visitors went into the interval with a 2-0 advantage. Marcao then added the third in the 51st minute while Deng Hanwen put the icing to the cake with his 80th minute strike to seal a 4-0 victory for Wuhan Three Towns.
In their previous home game in the league, Svetozar Sapuric’s side played out a 1-1 draw with Dalian Pro, and after winning both of their subsequent matches away from home before the defeat to the league leaders, Cangzhou Mighty Lions will feel confident of getting back to winning ways on Friday.
Meanwhile, Wuhan Yangtze played out a 1-1 draw with Changchun Yatai in their last Chinese Super League match at Dongxihu Sports Centre, leaving them in 15th place on 16 points, level on points with 16th-placed Guangzhou FC but just outside the relegation zone on goal difference.
The previous meeting between these two sides saw Cangzhou claim a 4-1 victory at Dongxihu Sports Centre in September. Deabeas Owusu-Sekyere and Oscar Taty Maritu both scored two goals for Sapuric’s side while Dong Xu scored the only goal for Wuhan Yangtze in the fourth minute.
