Brondby vs AGF Match Analysis & Prediction

Securing a third successive league victory will be the target for Brondby when they take on AGF Aarhus at the Brondby Stadion on Sunday.
Brondby made light work of a struggling Lyngby side to score two quickfire first-half goals and secure a 2-0 win in Sunday’s encounter between the teams at the Lyngby Stadium.
Since a 3-3 draw against Viborg to kick off the new season, Jesper Sorensen’s side have come away with maximum points from their next two domestic games to sit third in the Danish Superliga standings.
While the 11-time champions of Denmark have enjoyed a near-perfect league season to date, their European campaign is currently in danger of coming to an end after a 3-2 first-leg defeat to Legia Warsaw in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers.
In the meantime, the Boys from Vestegnen must first navigate a tricky assignment against an opposing side who have lost just one of the last five encounters across all competitions since November 2023.
Aarhus went through a baptism of fire in their first two league matches of the campaign, which came against defending champions Midtjylland and their predecessors Copenhagen.
Unsurprisingly, Uwe Rosler’s side managed to secure just one point from a possible six, with a 3-2 defeat to Copenhagen coming off the back of a 1-1 draw against Midtjylland on the opening weekend.
Aarhus finally kickstarted their season at the third attempt last time out through a comprehensive 4-0 thrashing of SonderjyskE, inspired by 35-year-old forward Patrick Mortensen.
Last Friday’s win at Ceres Park saw Aarhus move up to seventh place in the league standings, just two points adrift of Silkeborg in the race to secure a Championship Group spot.
