Bolton Wanderers will be looking to return to winning ways in League One when they host an in-form Wycombe Wanderers at the Toughsheet Community Stadium on Tuesday night.
The hosts are currently third in the table, seven points behind the leaders Portsmouth, while the visitors sit 15th, now six points clear of the relegation zone due to their recent strong form.
Bolton have won 18, drawn five and lost six of their 29 league matches this season to collect 59 points, which has left them one point behind second-placed Derby County.
Ian Evatt’s side are also seven points ahead of seventh-placed Oxford United, but they have been held to draws by Barnsley and Northampton Town in their last two matches, with their last victory in League One coming on January 27 over Carlisle United (4-1).
The Trotters have the second-best home record in League One this season, picking up 32 points from 15 matches, but Wycombe have been solid on their travels, picking up 17 points from 15 games.
Meanwhile, Wycombe will enter this contest off the back of a 5-2 victory over Peterborough United on Saturday, which made it three straight wins across all competitions.
Wycombe are in the semi-finals of the EFL Trophy, with Bradford City their opponents later this month, while they also won their last away match in League One – a 3-1 victory over Cheltenham Town on February 3.
Matt Bloomfield’s side, who finished ninth in League One last season, are currently 15th in the table, boasting a record of nine wins, 10 draws and 11 losses from 30 matches to collect 37 points.
The Blues are six points clear of the relegation zone, and they have two more league matches against Bolton and Oxford United before facing Bradford City in the EFL Trophy.
