Bologna vs Sassuolo Match Analysis & Prediction

12/11/2022 10:45 pm

Bologna will look to bounce back to winning ways in Serie A when they welcome Sassuolo to Stadio Renato Dall’Ara for their Matchday 15 tie on Saturday night.
Bologna are coming off a thrashing 6-1 defeat at Inter Milan last time out in Serie A, ending their three-match league winning streak.
Returning home on Saturday, where they have not lost in their last three league fixtures, winning the last two, Thiago Motta’s side will be keen to quickly bounce back as they seek to climb over their opponents in the league standings. Bologna sit 13th level on points with 12th-places Sassuolo.
Sassuolo picked up a 1-1 draw against Roma last time out, extending their winless run to three matches in Serie A, while they have now won just one of their last six league games.
The run has seen them drop out of the top half with now three points separating them and the 10th-placed Fiorentina. They could still go into the World Cup break in the top half but that will need them to bounce back strongly on Saturday.
Last season Sassuolo claimed a 3-1 win in the corresponding fixture and will be hoping for the same this term, although they have currently lost all their last three away games and will have much to amend before the Saturday clash.
