Bolivia vs Andorra Match Analysis & Prediction
26/03/2024 12:00 am
Bolivia will go head-to-head with European underdogs Andorra in a friendly game at Stade du 19 Mai 1956 in Algeria on Monday.
The South Americans have won just one of their previous 10 internationals, while the Tricolors are winless in 14 matches.
Bolivia already face an almighty task to secure their place at the 2026 World Cup, having lost five of their six qualifying matches.
With their next qualifier set to take place in November, Bolivia have turned their attention to preparations for the Copa America in the USA this summer.
Bolivia looked set to begin their build-up to the tournament with a victory after taking a 2-1 lead in Friday’s friendly with Algeria, only to concede two goals in the final 15 minutes to suffer a 3-2 defeat.
Having now gone four friendly matches without a victory, La Verde will be determined to pick up a confidence-boosting win in their first-ever encounter with Andorra.
Andorra have drawn four and lost 10 of their 14 matches since beating Liechtenstein 2-0 in a UEFA Nations League game in September 2022.
Ten of those matches took place in Euro 2024 qualifying, where Andorra finished bottom of Group I with just two points on the board.
After losing their final six matches of qualifying, Koldo Alvarez’s side would have been relieved to end that run with a 1-1 draw in Thursday’s friendly with South Africa.
Cucu opened the scoring in the fifth minute to register Andorra’s first goal since they got on the scoresheet in a 2-1 defeat to Israel in June 2023.
Although Elias Mokwana’s equaliser ensured the game finished all square, Andorra have managed to avoid defeat in four of their last six friendlies, giving them a source of inspiration for Monday’s encounter with Bolivia.

Andorra Team News
Andorra midfielder Jordi Alaez is a doubt for Monday’s contest after he was forced off in the first half against South Africa.
Eric de Pablos replaced Alaez in the 1-1 draw, and he could be presented with a starting opportunity if the 26-year-old is unable to take his place in the side.
