Bodo/Glimt and Lech Poznan battle it out in the first leg of the knockout stages of the Europa Conference League for a place in the next round on Thursday.
While the hosts were victorious in a 4-2 thriller against Stromgodset in their last game, the visitors edged past Wisla Plock through a 1-0 scoreline in their last match.
Due to the Eliteserien finishing in November, Bodo/Glimt have not played a competitive game in three months, which could have a great effect on their fitness and match sharpness.
Although the participated in friendly matches to try and regain match sharpness within the squad, they have won just one of those games, being winless in their previous three friendlies.
Bodo/Glimt finished third in the Europa League group stages and as a result, they landed a spot in the Europa League knockout rounds.
Despite being knocked out of the Europa League, Bodo/Glimt competed in a difficult group to progress through, as they were drawn in a group with Arsenal and PSV Eindhoven.
Meanwhile, Lech Poznan are unbeaten in their last seven matches and are currently on course for Europa League qualification, as they occupy third place in the Ekstraklasa.
John van den Brom’s side qualified for this round after overcoming Villarreal in their final Europa Conference League group match, as goals from Kristoffer Velde and Michal Skoras helped them claim a 3-0 victory over the Spaniards.
Lech Poznan will have confidence heading into the contest as they are unbeaten in their last four away matches and will believe that they can take a positive result heading back home.
