13/12/2022 10:45 pm
Barnet will be looking to continue their positive momentum in the National League when they play host to Yeovil Town at the Hive Stadium on Tuesday.
While the hosts head into the contest off the back of a victory over Wealdstone, the visitors make the trip to London fresh from a goalless draw at home to Scunthorpe United.
Barnet have made positive steps in 2022-23 under manager Dean Brennan and sit fifth in the National League table on 36 points from 20 matches played.
They have made a major improvement from heir showing in 2021-22, where they ended up in 18th place, putting themselves firmly in the mix to challenge for a playoff spot.
The Bees claimed a 2-0 victories at home to Wealdstone in the National League, with Harry Pritchard and Nicke Kabamba getting on the scoresheet.
Barnet will hope to continue their spirited home form in the league on Tuesday, where hey have managed to collect seven victories and a draw from 11 matches on their own turf.
Should the hosts take all three points in midweek, they could leapfrog Woking into fourth place if other results in the division go their way.
Meanwhile, Yeovil have experienced a less impressive time of things and are just five points above the relegation zone as they prepare to take on Barnet.
They have been poor in front of goal, scoring just 17 times this season, which is the fewest number of efforst converted across the whole of the National League this season.
However, Yeovil do not concede many goals, boasting the joint-second best defensive record in the division so far, which has seen them ship just 20 goals in 21 matches this season.
Unsurprisingly, their most recent game ended in a goalless draw at home to Scunthorpe, in what turned out to be a dull affair that produced little in terms of opportunities for either side.
Heading to the Hive Stadium to face Barnet, Mark Cooper will be hoping his side can put in a better performance as Yeovil look to move further away from the drop zone.
