Barcelona vs Mallorca Match Analysis & Prediction

The Spanish Liga champions, Barcelona, will aim to bounce back from consecutive defeats in La Liga when they play their penultimate match of the 2022-23 season against Mallorca at Camp Nou on Sunday night.
Barcelona have been the best team in La Liga this season and secured the championship with four games to spare by beating Espanyol 4-2 in the Catalan derby earlier this month.
They’ve had a dip in form since then, however, losing at home to Real Sociedad and away to Real Valladolid – two teams with plenty to fight for at this late stage of the campaign.
Mallorca returned to La Liga last season after dropping into the second tier, and they finished the 2021-22 campaign in 16th place. However, this term they have been more competitive than ever before. Indeed, a total of 47 points from 36 matches has left Javier Aguirre’s side in 11th position in the table–nine points clear of relegation and just three points behind seventh-placed Osasuna in their fight for survival.
Barcelona vs. Mallorca Head to head
Both sides have 17 games against each other with hosts taking fourteen wins while visitors with one win and two draws.
