Atletico Madrid welcome Barcelona, who sit six points above the Blaugrana, to Madrid on Sunday evening for a vital six pointer at the summit of La Liga.
Essentially, Barcelona need a victory if they still want to be considered as title challengers. The reverse fixture ended 1-0 to the Blaugrana back in December, with Joao Felix scoring against his parent club.
Atleti haven’t won in this fixture since 2021, and will be looking to use their momentum gained from knocking Inter Milan out of the Champions League to turn their fortunes against Barca around.
