The Liga MX play-in round begins on Friday, with Atletico San Luis hosting Club Leon at Estadio Alfonso Lastras Ramirez, with the winner progressing into the Apertura quarter-finals.
Atleti lost their final game of the domestic season 2-0 to Santos Laguna but still finished seventh in the table, ahead of Leon on goal difference, with La Fiera coming back to beat Juarez 2-1 in their previous match.
