Athletic Bilbao secured their place in the Copa del Rey semi-finals after beating Valencia on January 26. Still, there is no getting away from the fact that Ernesto Valverde’s side is currently struggling in La Liga.

Since October, they have only won once in Spain’s top flight and picked up just two points from their last five league fixtures.
