Ajax hosts Emmen on Sunday evening, knowing that only a victory will keep their hopes of winning the Eredivisie alive. Ajax sits eight points adrift of leaders Feyenoord with six matches left, while Emmen is 15th in the standings and just one point above the bottom three.
Ajax has needed to focus on their form while they wait for Feyenoord’s slump to materialize.
