AC Milan and Torino will battle for a place in the quarter-finals of the Coppa Italia when they face off at San Siro in the last 16 round on Wednesday night.
Torino began their Cup campaign in the first round, where they saw out Serie B side Palermo with an impressive 3-0 victory. They followed that up with a 4-0 win over Cittadella in the second round to book a place in this round.
They will be looking to extend their run in the cup, but they face an uphill task against Serie A champions Milan at San Siro. Torino have not won at San Siro in their last 22 visits against the Rossoneri and causing an upset on W4ednesday could prove difficult.
Milan will begin their Coppa Italia campaign in this round and they will be looking to go all the way to the final this time around after losing out 3-0 on aggregate to Inter Milan in the semi-finals last season.
They started the year with a 2-1 away win over Salernitana, before drawing 2-2 with Roma at home in Serie A and will be looking to return to winning ways as soon as possible. They have failed to beat Torino in the last two meetings though and will need to be on top of their game on Wednesday.
