Napoli will be looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the new Serie A campaign when they welcome Torino to Stadio Diego Armando Maradona for their Serie A Matchday Eight tie on Saturday.
Napoli have made a strong start to the Serie A campaign as they went into the first international break unbeaten and at the top of the table. They are jointly on 17 points with Atalanta who sit second and the only other side that remain unbeaten in Serie A.
Luciano Spalletti’s side picked a statement 2-1 away win over the champions AC Milan, extending their winning streak to five matches across all competitions. Three of the five victories have come in Serie A and Spalletti’s men will be looking to keep their blameless run going on Saturday, as they hope to keep the league’s lead.
Torino meanwhile made a good start to their campaign, but seemed to have hit a slump just before the first international break. They won two and drew one of their opening three matches, but have since lost three and won just one of their last four matches.
The run has seen them drop to ninth-place in the league and they will be looking to turn-around their fortunes on Saturday. However, the Turin outfits have not won at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in their last 10 visits and they will need to do a lot to come away with something this weekend.
