Fir Park sets to host a contested match against sides who are looking for their first win in the Scottish Premiership. Motherwell and Dundee United set to lock horns this Saturday with kickoff at 5 pm.
Motherwell started their opening day with a 1-0 loss to side Ross County. Recently promoted side Dundee United had their first taste of the Premiership ending in a 1-1 draw to side St. Johnstone.
Ross Stewart suffered a first-half penalty strike that was enough to separate the two sides at Highlands. The side started well with 15 shots on goal without having one on target. The side suffered the loss of three points that could have helped the team to an encouraging start.

The newly-promoted side had to share spoils with side St. Johnstone, who had to play with ten-man on the pitch. The side received a penalty in the opening minutes of the game that was converted on the spot by Nicky Clark.
The main mission for Mellon this side will be avoiding relegation to the Championship. The side made reinforcements in the squad with the addition of defender Ryan Edwards from Blackpool.
