Liverpool will look to maintain their Premier League revival when they travel to City Ground to take on Nottingham Forest in their Matchday 13 tie on Saturday afternoon. Liverpool received a turbo-charged boost over the past week after that seismic 7-1 hammering of Rangers at Ibrox which was quickly followed up by an exhilarating win over Manchester City where a club finally found a way to stop Erling Haaland, and their revival. They followed that up with a hard-fought 1-0 win over West Ham in the midweek, reignited their title ambitions and they will want to maintain that momentum at City Ground this weekend. Jurgen Klopp’s side now sit seventh on 16 points, seven points behind Man City in second and 11 off Arsenal at the summit. Nottingham, meanwhile, finally managed to climb to the Premier League in the summer after 24 seasons. However it’s already looking like they will have their work cut out to avoid returning to the Championship immediately. The Trick Tree’s sit at the bottom of the table on six points from 11 games, three points adrift of safety and they need to turn around their fortunes if they are to retain their tip flight status next season. They are coming off a 0-0 draw with Brighton, which increased their winless run to nine in the Premier League. They well though in the 0-0 draw at Brighton as they withstood an attacking barrage and they will have a bit of confidence as they return home this weekend.
