Everton will look to snap their three-match winless run in the Premier League when they welcome Crystal Palace to Goodison Park for their Matchday 13 tie on Saturday evening. After opening with two consecutive defeats, Everton managed to bounce and put together a six-match unbeaten run in the Premier League and looked like they could challenge for a top half finish this season. However, they have hit a pump as they have now lost their last three league matches, with the most recent one coming at Newcastle United last Wednesday. The league is certainly still a long way to go and the Toffees could still manage a top half finish, but they need to end this slump as soon as possible. They currently sit 15th on 10 points, three places and one point off the relegation zone, meaning, another setback this weekend could leave them in the danger zone. They will be desperate to returning to winning ways in this fixture, and having gone unbeaten in each of their last seven meetings against Palace at Goodison Park, the Toffees should look to draw confidence from that. Crystal Palace had a tough start to the campaign, managing to win just once in their opening seven games. However, the Eagles have now managed to turn around their fortunes as they now won two and drawn one of their three subsequent fixtures; with a 2-1 home win over Wolves the latest result. The result saw them climb into the top half of the Premier League, three points above Saturday's opponents Everton and six points behind the top five. They will be looking to maintain the momentum this weekend, but they are yet to get off the mark on their travels so far this term, drawing three times including two successive goalless stalemates.
