Bournemouth will be looking to bounce back to winning ways in the Premier League when they welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to Vitality Stadium for their Matchday five tie on Wednesday night. Bournemouth recorded the joint worst defeat in the Premier League history last time out as they went down 9-0 at Anfield. The defeat marked their third consecutive defeat in the top flight, in a run that they have conceded 16 times without a single response. They were previously coming off a 4-0 defeat at Manchester City and a 3-0 defeat to Arsenal at home. Scott Parker will now be desperate for his side to bounce back and they draw confidence from their 2-0 win over Aston Villa at home on the opening day. Meanwhile Wolverhampton Wanderers are still searching for their first League win this season having picked up two draws and two defeats from their opening four matches. Despite losing 9-0 at the weekend, Bournemouth still sit above Wolves in the Premier League standings as Bruno Lage’s side find themselves in the relegation zone in this early stages of the campaign. No doubt pressure is building on Lage who will need his side to get their campaign up and running on Wednesday. Stretching back to last season, Wolves have failed to win their last 11 league matches, while haven’t won any of their last nine away matches. Therefore they have much to amend before the tie, they haven’t lost to Bournemouth in their last four league matches and they will look to draw confidence from that.
