Bournemouth will host Leicester City at the Vitality Stadium in their Premier League Matchday 10 tie on Saturday evening. Bournemouth are coming off a 0-0 draw with Brentford last time out, which increased their unbeaten run to four matches now in the top flight. The Cherries had lost three of their four opening matches, with a 9-0 battering by Liverpool highlighting their struggle and which eventually led to sucking of Scott Parker. Since taking over, caretaker Gary O’Neil has seen the Cherries string the unbeaten streak which has them climb into 13th place in the league standings, with now just one point off Liverpool in ninth. Therefore O’Neil will be hoping for another positive result from his side this weekend as they seek to steady their table climb. Meanwhile Leicester City finally got their 2022/23 Premier League campaign off the mark with a strong 4-0 home win over Nottingham Forest last Monday night. The Foxes had lost six Premier League matches in a row prior to the Monday success, which also saw them climb off the bottom of the table, although on goal difference. Brendan Rodgers’ side sit 19th, level on four points with rock-bottom Nottingham Forest and they are three points off 15th-placed West Ham. They will be desperate to build on the victory to make it two wins on the bounce and hope to climb out of the relegation zone. However, they have failed to win at Vitality Stadium in their last five visits and they will need to play at the top of the game here to come away with something.
