Arsenal will look to get their top-four hopes back on track when they travel to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea in a crucial London derby on Wednesday night with kickoff at 21:45. The two sides have been on opposite fortunes recently with the Blues recording a three-match winning streak while the Gunners have suffered three consecutive defeats. After suffering two dreadful defeats to Brentford in the Premier League and Real Madrid in the Champions League, Chelsea responded in the strongest way possible as they run rampant on Southampton with a 6-0 victory at St Mary’s in the Premier League, before giving Real Madrid a hard time at Bernabeu in the Champions League, but Karim Benzema send them parking with his extra-time header. They quickly moved on from the heartbreak of missing out on the semifinals of the Champions League as they booked a place in the final of the FA Cup by edging out Crystal Palace 2-0 at Wembley last Sunday. This means that Thomas Tuchel’s side are back in form and the Stamford Bridge faithfuls will want them to hurt the Gunners more. The Blues claimed a 2-0 win at the emirates in the reverse fixture and should be confident here. Meanwhile Arsenal meanwhile were hot favorites to clinch the fourth-place finish after an impressive five-match winning streak in the Premier League gave them the edge over Tottenham, Man United and West Ham. However, things have gone in worst possible way for Mikel Arteta’s side since then as they proceeded to four of their next five matches, a run that has seen them slip down to sixth place in the standings, with now three points behind fourth-placed Tottenham.
