Both Brighton and Norwich will look to end their six-match losing streaks in the Premier League when they lock horns at the Amex Stadium in their Matchday 31 tie on Saturday evening with kickoff at 17:00.
Brighton are dealing with difficult second half of the season following an impressive start to the campaign. They currently appear to be out of steam having won just one of their last 10 Premier League matches and have lost their last six in a row – including the 2-0 defeat to Tottenham at home prior to the international break.
The poor run has seen the Seagulls slip further the table and they now sit 13th on 33 points in the bottom half, although they still have a solid buffer above the relegation. Another season in the Premier League is seemingly in the bag for Brighton, but concern may start to creep in if their streak of losses continues any longer, especially seeing as they have only managed one goal in the process while conceding at least two in every game.
Meanwhile, following a confidence bosting start to the year, things have gone from bad to worse for Norwich City, who have now failed to in their last eight matches across all competitions and have lost in the last seven in a row. The run has seen them continue to languish in the bottom spot, seven points adrift of safety. With the league starting to edge close to its end, the Canaries surely something special to retain their Premier League status the season.
Dean Smith’s side have been poor on the road throughout the season and head into the match with just one win from their last eight away matches, suffering six defeats in the run. They will need to improve on that as anymore defeats could cut them off completely from the rest of the Premier League.
