Mariehamn will welcome HJK Helsinki to Wiklof Holding Arena for their Veikkausliiga Matchday 12 tie on Wednesday night.
Mariehamn continued their poor campaign in the 2022 Veikkausliiga as they fall to a 3-2 defeat at Haka last Saturday. Daniel Norrmen’s side has now suffered five defeats in their 10 league matches this so far this season, while it marked their fourth consecutive league defeat.
With just seven points Mariehamn sit just a place above the rock-bottom side HIFK, with three points separating them, while they are eight points outside the top-half. It will take a lot effort for Mariehamn to finish the first phase of the league in the top-half and having suffered five defeats in their last six matches in all competitions doesn’t suggest anything good.

They have now failed to win in their last two league matches as they were previously coming off a 0-0 draw against KuPS and they will now be looking to bounce back as they hope to overtake the Yellow-blacks to the league lead.
Toni Koskela’s side have won six of their last seven meetings against Mariehamn, claiming four clean sheets on the run and thus should be confident of returning to winning ways on Wednesday.
