St Johnstone will be desperate to return to winning ways when they travel to Tony Macaroni Arena to take on a high-flying Livingston in their third fixture of the relegation Group of the Scottish Premiership on Saturday evening with kickoff at 17:00.
St Johnstone made a poor campaign this season and finished the first phase of the season in the relegation zone. Their poor campaign continued in the second phase as they have failed to win their opening two matches drawing 1-1 fellow relegation candidates Dundee, before falling to 1-0 defeat to St Mirren at home last weekend.
The Saints are now just a eight points adrift of safety and with three matches remaining, they cannot any more slip-ups if there are to salvage their campaign. Anything less than a victory on Saturday could leave the Saints relegated.
They have won their last Premiership encounters against Livingston and they will look to draw confidence from that. However, they face s high-flying Livingston who have won their last two Relegation Group games against Aberdeen (2-1) and Hibernian (1-0).
The run has seen them confirm their place in top tier next season and thus they have little to play for in this match, but considering their recent form and home advantage we believe Livingston will fancy their chances of sending St Johnstone to the Championship on Saturday.
