Celtic will be looking extend their winning run in the Scottish Premiership to five games on the bounce when they make a trip to Tony Macaroni Arena to take on Livingston in their Matchday 13 tie on Sunday evening.
Scottish Premiership champions Celtic have made an impressive start to their defence of the league title. They have won 10 and lost one of their 11 league games so far and currently sit at the top of the league standings with four points above Rangers in second.
Ange Postecoglou’s side have been flying high recently in the Scottish top flight, winning all their last four league fixtures with a thrilling 4-3 win at Hearts being the most recent victory. However, they were held to a 1-1 draw by Shakhtar Donetsk in the midweek in the Champions League and will need to take things up a notch on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Livingston have made an inconsistent campaign this season, with the side winning five, drawing one and losing five of their 11 matches. They currently sit fifth on 16 points three points above the bottom half.
However, Livingston will be happy with their campaign so far and are coming off a 1-1 draw against Rangers in their previous league fixture. Therefore, although Celtic are the favorites to win on Sunday, Livingston should not be completely be written off as they have made a habit of upsetting the odds.
