Liverpool prepare to face Leeds United at Anfield on Wednesday, with their hopes of premier League title push having been renewed.

The Reds survived a scare to defeat Norwich City 3-1 last time out, while Leeds saw their most recent game end in a 4-2 defeat against Manchester United.

In the Saturday’s game, Sadio Mane eqaulized in the 64th minute before Salah scored to put his team ahead, then new arrival Luiz Diaz struck his first goal for the club to round off the victory.

After Manchester City’s surprise defeat against Tottenham Hotspur, the 2021-22 title is no longer out of reach for Liverpool, who have closed the gap at the top of the table to six points with a game in hand on the league leaders.

The visit of Leeds will present Liverpool’s most important league match of the season so far, but domestic silverware elsewhere will soon take precedence, as Klopp’s side may already have an eye on the EFL Cup final with Chelsea on February 27.

However, having won each of their last eight matches across all competitions and being the only Premier League side yet to lose a league game at home this season, their supporters will expect another dominant showing against leaky Leeds.
