Levante will desperately look to return to winning ways when they welcome Real Sociedad to Ciutat de Valencia for their La Liga Matchday 35 tie on Friday night with kickoff at 22:00 EAT.
Levante have made a poor campaign this season with the club recording only five victories from 34 games so far this season, while they have picked 11 draws and suffered 18 defeats in the run and currently sit at the bottom of the table with only 26 points.
With only four games remaining to go Levante still have the chance to salvage their season as they are six points adrift of safety. However, they need to win all their remaining matches to stand a better chance of climbing out of the drop zone.
Meanwhile Real Sociedad have made a good campaign this season with the side challenging for the Champions League place. However, a three much slump has seen them fall behind in the race for the fourth place. Two draws and one defeat in their last three La Liga games has seen the Basques drop into the sixth place in the standings with five points behind fourth-placed Atletico Madrid.
They still have a chance for a top four finish but they need to bounce back to winning ways as soon as possible and a game against a relegation fighting opponent could a tricky challenge. Sociedad, however, have edged Levante 1-0 in their last two league matches and should be confident of getting their Champions League push back on track on Friday.
