Both Leeds and Norwich will be looking to return to winnings ways when they lock horns at Elland Road in what will be a crucial bottom of the table fixture on Sunday evening with kickoff at 18:00.
Both sides were left empty-handed again in their previous league matches with Leeds suffering a 3-0 home defeat to Aston Villa on Thursday night, while Norwich suffered a 3-1 home defeat to Chelsea on the same night.
The Whites have now suffered six defeats in a row in the Premier league while failing to win in their last eight league matches, picking just one draw in the run, whereas the Canaries have now suffered six consecutive defeats across all competitions while have failed to win in their last six league matches claiming a draw in the run.
As result Leeds have dropped into 16th just two places and two points above the relegation zone, although they have played two matches more than the 18th-placed Burnley, while Norwich remain at the bottom of the table with five points adrift of safety, but they have played three matches more than the 17th –placed Everton.
Therefore, they will be both desperate to end their losing streaks with Leeds looking to avoid entering the drop zone while Norwich seek to climb out of the relegation zone, although the Canaries appears to be well on their way back to the Championship.
The match is indeed a crucial one with both sides going for the three points, thus will be contested so closely, although we believe Leeds will fancy their chances using their home advantage and they will also draw confidence from their 2-1 win in the reverse fixture earlier in the season.
