Lazio and Verona will wrap up their 2021-22 Serie A campaign when they face each other at Stadio Olimpico on Saturday night with kickoff at 21:45.
Lazio have made an impressive campaign this season with the side claiming 63 points from their 37 matches to sit fifth in the Serie A standings. They have also already guaranteed a European spot as they sit three points above sixth-placed Roma and four points above both Fiorentina and Atalanta.
They therefore can afford to relax and enjoy the final tie of this season, but they just everyone they will want to end the campaign in a style. They are coming into the clash in a good mood having gone unbeaten in their last three league matches, claiming two victories and a draw in the run, and they will want to maintain the run.
Meanwhile Verona have also made a good campaign this season and thy head into the final fixture of the season sitting in the top-half of the table in ninth, two points above both Torino and Sassuolo who sit 10th and 11th respectively.
Verona therefore still has something to fight for in the Saturday clash as they will want to keep their top half finish with a positive result. Although, they are coming off back-to-back defeats to Milan and Torino and they will need to be at they best to get something out of Lazio. They however, beat the capital club 4-1 in the reverse fixture and will draw confidence from that.
