The hosts are currently sitting seventh in the Serie A table on 49 points from their 30 matches played, 10 points adrift of fourth-placed Juventus in the Champions League spot, while they trail sixth-placed Roma by two points for a spot in the Conference League Qualifiers.
In their last match in the Serie A action, Lazio suffered a 3-0 defeat against Roma at Stadio Olimpico (Roma), with Tammy Abraham putting the hosts ahead with a brace in the 1st and 22nd minute, before Lorenzo Pellegrini sealed the fate of the visitors in the 40th minute with his own effort.

Sassuolo enter the match off the back of a 4-1 victory over Spezia, which left them sitting ninth in the table on 43 points, six points adrift their Saturday’s opponents, and will be hoping for a victory to close the gap between themselves and Lazio.
In league matches on the road this season, Sassuolo have recorded six wins, five draws and four losses, and they currently find themselves on a three-match away unbeaten streak in the league and have not been defeated away since February 6 against Sampdoria.

Gianluca Scamacca and Jeremy Toljan are ruled out of this contest with muscle injuries, while Filip Djuricic remains absent due to a hamstring injury.
Sassuolo’s Emil Konradser Ceide is expected to lead the line, and should be supported by Domenico Berardi, Giacomo Raspadori and Hamed Junior Traore in a 4-2-3-1 formation.
Prediction and Odds
Sassuolo have recently put together some good performances and we have a feeling they are capable of scoring against their opponents, but can easily concede as well.
However, Lazio will want to push towards the fifth spot with a victory here, and we expect them to fight for a home win.
