Lazio vs Sampdoria Match Analysis and Prediction

Both Lazio and Sampdoria will be looking to make it back-to-back victories in Serie A when they lock horns at the Stadio Olimpico in their matchday 36 tie on Saturday night with kickoff at 21:45 EAT.

After a two match winless run Lazio returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 4-3 win over Spezia last weekend, with Francesco Acerbi scoring the winning goal in the 90^th minute of the game. With three games remaining to go Lazio still have a chance to clinch the Europa League spot provided they win all their remaining matches. Sampdoria meanwhile managed to end their four-match winless run in Serie A with a1-0 victory over relegation threatened Genoa last weekend. The win was vital for survival chances of Sampdoria who went five points above the relegation.

With still three matches remaining Samp have not yet fully salvaged their season, but the gap gives them a good advantage on the bottom three and another positive result could seal their survival.
