After an impressive breakout season in Serie A, Lazio get a taste of Champion’s League football this week. Lazio will play host to side Borussia Dortmund at the Stadio Olimpico with kickoff at 8 pm.
It will mark Lazio’s first time taking part in the Champions League since their triumphant 2007-08 season. It mark’s Dortmund’s five campaign in the Champions League without any successive wins.

It is proving to be a difficult start for the Italian with only one goal so far in Serie A. The star saw a red card during their loss to Sampdoria and will be looking for redemption this Tuesday in the Champions League. The 30-year-old is no stranger to their opponents spending the 2014-15 season at Dortmund managing three goals from 24 appearances.
Lucien Favre is having a real go to the Bundesliga title currently third on the table. The Yellow and Blacks recently registered a 1-0 win against Hoffenheim, making it three wins and one loss in their past four matches. Both sides are drawn in Group F alongside Zenit St. Petersburg and Club Brugge.
