Pedro Neto Wolves – Chelsea (£51.4m)
Chelsea have announced the signing of Portugal international Pedro Neto from Wolves. The 24 –year old expressed his gratitude for joined the club saying, “I have worked really hard in my career to be here and I’m looking forward to getting on the pitch with this shirt.”
Neto will join the rest of his Chelsea teammates at Cobham in the coming days. The winger becomes the club’s 10th arrival of the summer transfers, joining on a seven-year contract. He spent five seasons at Wolves after arriving from Braga in 2019. Last season was his most productive campaign as he tallied nine assists and two goals in 20 appearances.
Dominic Solanke Bournemouth – Tottenham
Tottenham have completed the signing of Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth. The 26-year old striker has agreed to a six-year contract. His career journey includes stints with Chelsea, Liverpool, and AFC Bournemouth before joining Spurs in August 2024 for a club record fee.
Solanke has represented England at various youth levels and made one appearance for the senior national team in 2017. Notably, he won the 2014 UEFA European Under-17 Championship and the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup with England, receiving the Golden Ball award for being the best player in the latter tournament.
Recently, he became the first Bournemouth player to be voted Premier League’s Player of the Month after scoring six goals in December 2024.
